Mothers are the foundation of our families and communities. They are caregivers, protectors, mentors, and leaders, often balancing multiple responsibilities while continuing to show up with unwavering commitment and love. In today’s fast-paced world, many women successfully navigate careers, households, and personal growth, demonstrating resilience and determination every single day.
Motherhood goes beyond biology. It includes all women who nurture, guide, and uplift others, whether as mothers, guardians, mentors, or role models. Their impact is powerful, shaping not only families but the future of our society.
At Lady Askari, we recognize that behind every strong woman is a story of sacrifice, growth, and perseverance.
For me, that story begins with my own mother. I lost my father at the age of eight, and my mother was left to raise three children on her own. What could have broken her instead revealed her strength. She became our provider, our protector, and our constant source of love and guidance. She is the strongest woman I have ever known, my greatest motivator. Watching her raise us with resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment shaped who I am today. Her strength continues to inspire me in every aspect of my life.
Today, as a mother to a vibrant five-and-a-half-year-old daughter, I see that strength reflected in a new way. My daughter is my daily source of motivation. Watching her grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. She inspires me to keep pushing forward, to lead with intention, and to approach life with tenacity and clarity. Motherhood has transformed how I think, how I make decisions, and how I navigate challenges. It has taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of staying calm under pressure, qualities that are not only essential at home but also critical in the security industry.
In many ways, being a mother and working in security are deeply connected. Both roles require vigilance, responsibility, quick decision-making, and a strong sense of protection. As mothers, we are constantly assessing risks, ensuring safety, and preparing for the unexpected. These same instincts and skills translate directly into the work we do in security: protecting people, environments, and operations.
At Lady Askari, women continue to prove that strength and professionalism go hand in hand. Mothers in the security sector bring a unique perspective, one that is grounded in care, awareness, and resilience. They understand what it means to protect not just as a duty, but as a deeply personal responsibility.
This Mother’s Day, I celebrate myself! And I celebrate every woman out there carrying so much, often silently, yet continuing to stand strong, especially those in the security industry who safeguard others while nurturing their own families.
Women are strong, mothers are powerful and at Lady Askari, we proudly recognize and celebrate the women who continue to protect, lead, nurture, and inspire both at home and in the field.
